Special Book Deal on Amazon

Hi,

Constant blog reader will already know that my wife (Noelle Frances Ferry) is also an author, but of books much different from my military thriller (Field Piece) and my detective novel (Death on Delivery). Where my books are more shoot-’em-up, knock-’em-down, Noelle’s novels deal more with male-female conflicting agendas, emotionally, romantically, and sometimes physically.  Yup.  Chick Lit. But that’s OK.  I enjoy reading her novels too.  You have to watch out though, that you don’t gain weight while you read one of Noelle’s books. Lot’s of tempting meals and snacks surrounding those plot points!

Noelle’s novel, A Time Too Long, Part 1: Changing Tides, is on sale for just $0.99 on Amazon Kindle from June 11 through June 17. The heroine, Nadine, has finally left her abusive and cheating husband Gavin after 20+ years and is trying to reinvent her life, with no help from her mother and aunt I might add. She borrows her husband’s tricked out pickup truck to transport her meager items to her new rented basement room, and the next morning the truck is gone — stolen in the night.  Not her fault, but Gavin is not happy to say the least.

Skirt-chasing Gavin somehow feels that he is the victim in this breakup, and vows revenge on Nadine. Then he finds out that she is frequently accompanied by a hunk ex-Marine who is merely her exercise partner, right? The divorce papers show up next, and Gavin flips out.

Will Nadine ever sleep with the ex-Marine? Will the ill-fated pickup truck ever be found? Will psycho Gavin kill Nadine before she can gain the life that she deserves? The answers to these questions, and more, in A Time Too Long.

If you enjoy this book, please review it on Amazon so others will know it’s a fun (but suspenseful) read. And remember, we are not responsible for any weight that you might gain while reading the book.

Field Piece Part I: Tehran

When a CIA agent is murdered in Tehran, the White House wants someone on the scene to determine what the agent discovered that led to his death, and who is responsible. The agent is supposed to remain low-profile — just get in, find out what the hell is going on, and get out. No women, no trouble, no killing.
